After several years of planning we moved from Louisiana to Michigan where we started our Morab Breeding program.  We bought several mares and then we found the 6 year champion Morab stallion Gentle Ben and along with the CMK based Arabian mare Bar Tiki, they moved from Missouri to Michigan , where they will continue the lines started by Ted Luedke at the Box LT Morab Ranch.

Our Morab Breeding Farm crosses Gentle Ben to some of the best old government Morgan mares, and Crabbet and early American Arabian mares, to produce beautiful Morab foals, who have wonderful conformation and fabulous dispositions. Must see to believe!! Our foals are bred for endurance and all around conformation. They are beautiful to look at and wonderful to work with.

Gentle Ben
Morab Stallion

Gentle Ben

Born: 5/12/1991, this 6-year-in-a-row champion Red Bay (roaned) stands 15h and weighs in at 1025 lb. (SABINO GENE)

Morgan Sire: Big Bend Blarnystone (Bay) of Flyhawk, Upwey Ben Don & Senator Graham blood.  Direct lines to GOLDDUST!
Arabian Dam: Primatene (Chestnut) of Nabob, Raffles & Fresno blood.   He has a direct line to Hearst Arabian stallion GHAZI.

CHAMPIONS BEGET CHAMPIONS

Ben has won International Morab Breeders' Futurity championships six-years in a row, including Get of Sire! His Get now have followed his lead as prize winners and distance careers.  He carries the Sabino gene and has produced Overo foals with Pinto color pattern - registered with PtHA as breeding stock.

His breeding attitude is strong but he treats mares well with live covers. He can be collected for cooled shipped semen.  He has strength and endurance, size and style, conformation and presence, show ring sparkle and is very athletic!   Depending on your mare, his foals can be expected to compete in all show disciplines, performance competition, distance competition, or make some of the best trail, family fun and working horses available in today's market. With great consistency, he passes these qualities to his get. He is one of only seven of today's Morabs (three stallions) with rich heritage that can be traced back to both the Hearst Arabian and the Morgan Golddust breeding programs.

Being featured in Horse & Horsemen , WI Horsemen's News, Horse Illustrated, CA Horsemen's News, Horse News West, Horse's Around, the Rocky Mountain Livestock magazines and most recently The Arabian Horse Times has helped bring the word about Ben to many readers. He has also been presented in stallion rows at state All Breed shows, Midwest Horse Fair, Horse A Ramma, and others. OOO's and Ah’s are not uncommon as he enters the ring. Spirit and flair mixed with a strong dose of common sense and desire to perform, make him a natural for display at public events. He was the youngest Morab to have been awarded the Bronze Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Morab Registry™, in early 1997. Ben's stallion fee is $425.00 including booking fee. Add mare care of $4.00 to $8.00 a day or semen charges of about $150.00 and you have a top quality stallion for your mare! He can breed Morab, Morgan and Arabian mares to produce Morab registrable foals. His foals participate in our Ben Centive Cash Award program, are eligible for IMBA Futurity competition and are nomination into the International Morab Registry™, Lifetime Achievement Award program.

We have a variety of champion quality broodmares you can match with Gentle Ben to create your own special Morab through our "In utero" program.

Color pictures, pedigree, get listing and contract samples available at $5.00
or a Video at $20.00 (refundable with purchase of stock or services).
